The Whistler Athletes' Centre
located in Whistler's Cheakamus Crossing neighborhood, provides comfortable nightly and long-term accommodation for athletes, teams, sport clubs and other groups seeking affordable accommodation in Whistler. Built for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the WAC continues to support sport development by providing accessible, athlete-focused accommodation close to key training and competition venues throughout the Sea to Sky region.

We are currently hiring a Lodge Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring high standards of housekeeping throughout the facility. Job Overview
Position: Lodge Attendant
Department: The Whistler Athletes' Centre
Status: Full-Time
Housing: Affordable staff housing available for Full-Time employees
Schedule: Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
Location: Whistler, BC
Wage: $21.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediately

What You’ll Do

Clean guest rooms, washrooms and common areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness

Restock housekeeping supplies and linens, and report inventory shortages

Remove dirty linens and garbage to designated collection areas

Inspect guest areas and report maintenance concerns, damages or deficiencies

Maintain clean and welcoming public spaces, including the High Performance Centre and guest facilities





Label and submit lost and found items

Support kitchen operations by cleaning food preparation areas, dishes and kitchen equipment as required

Receive and properly store kitchen deliveries

Help ensure housekeeping equipment and supplies are clean, organized and in good working order

Deliver exceptional guest service while carrying out Whistler Sport Legacies' customer service philosophy: AIM – All Interactions Matter

Support the team with other duties as assigned

What You Bring

Previous housekeeping, hospitality or cleaning experience is an asset

High school education is considered an asset

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Positive attitude and solid work ethic

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to follow established procedures and work efficiently

Willingness to assist other departments when needed

Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences

Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check may be required

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, pushing and pulling housekeeping carts
