Organized, detail-driven operations professional to own order processing, inventory/pricing integrity, system administration, and executive support. High-trust, high-ownership role protecting revenue and keeping sales responsive.
IoTKinect is looking for an organized, detail-driven Operations & Inventory Coordinator to become the operational backbone of our business. Anchored at the front desk, you will own the workflows that keep our orders moving, our pricing accurate, and our sales team fast: order processing, inventory and pricing integrity, inventory software administration, and inside sales support, along with executive travel booking and bank deposit checks.
This is a high-trust, high-ownership role — you will be the single accountable owner for functions that currently sit across several people, and your accuracy and follow-through will directly protect revenue and keep our sales team responsive.
Process incoming orders and POS requests accurately and on time
Coordinate with the Sales team on quotes, targeting same-day turnaround for standard items
Maintain item master data, costs, and sale pricing, including system-wide price updates
Run weekly pricing audits and maintain a change log with a secondary reviewer in Sales Ops or Finance
System Administration
Own configuration, user permissions, and routine maintenance for our inventory/order software
Escalate technical issues to vendors or IT and see them through to resolution
Receiving Support
Coordinate with our Receiver and perform hardware receiving into inventory when coverage gaps occur
Executive Support
Book travel for the CEO and VP
Front Desk Coverage
Greet couriers and occasional walk-ins
Triage inbound inquiries to Sales or Operations
Primary receiving stays with our Receiver — this role backfills only as needed
Finance retains reconciliation and accounting — this role handles deposit checks, not ledger management
Strong administrative and organizational skills with proven attention to detail
Comfort learning and administering business software
Ability to manage competing priorities, balancing focused pricing/system work with front-desk responsiveness
Clear, skilled communication with customers, couriers, vendors, and internal teams
Experience with order processing, quoting, or POS systems
Prior inventory system administration or sales operations experience
Competitive Compensation: CAD $22–$28 per hour, based on experience
Full-Time Position: 37.5 hours per week
Health, dental, and vision coverage (50/50 cost-sharing)
Professional development budget and learning resources
Collaborative Culture: Innovative team environment at the cutting edge of IoT technology
IoTKinect is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
