Become a key member of Athabasca County's Protective Services team as a Response Officer. This term role focuses on initial response to emergencies along Highway 63.

This seven-month position reports directly to the Manager of Protective Services at the Wandering River Rescue Base. You will vitalize support for regional emergency services, including fire, police, and EMS. Living accommodations are provided, enhancing work-life balance for our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide initial response to emergency incidents
• Support fire, police, and EMS operations in the region
• Collaborate with Protective Services staff daily
• Coordinate response efforts along Highway 63
• Ensure public safety during emergencies

Requirements:
• Previous experience in emergency response is preferred
• Ability to work both independently and in teams
• Solid communication skills for effective coordination
• Preferably certified in CPR and First Aid
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations
