Welder / Fitter (TIG)
M.P. Welding & Fabrication is currently seeking an experienced Welder / Fitter (TIG) to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys working in a heavy industrial environment.

Compensation
$30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday: 9-hour shifts
Friday: 4-hour shift
Overtime opportunities available
Must be willing to work extended hours for scheduled shutdowns, emergency breakdowns, and occasional call-in support.
Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on light-gauge materials to a high standard of quality.
Read and accurately interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.
Fit and assemble custom fabricated products with precision and attention to detail.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of welding experience (TIG welding experience required).
Proven ability to TIG weld light-gauge materials.
Strong fitting and fabrication skills.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings with minimal supervision.
Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
Valid Ontario Driver's Licence.




Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
This position is based in a heavy industrial plant setting and requires adherence to all company safety policies.
Applicants must be able to:
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required.
Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
Lift, carry, push, pull, bend, crouch, and kneel throughout the workday.
Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and standard plant safety equipment.
Work safely in environments with industrial noise, temperature fluctuations, and other plant conditions.
