Pratts Food Service is looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team.
The ideal candidate be an key part of the team: responsible for ensuring food products are delivered safely, accurately, and professionally to our customers throughout Saskatoon and surrounding communities.
Responsibilities - Safely operate a 2 axle delivery truck.
- Deliver food service products accurately and professionally to customer locations.
- Load and unload products using pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.
- Provide outstanding customer service at every stop.
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Assist with warehouse shipping, receiving, organization, and housekeeping as required.
- Help prepare delivery routes for the following day.
- Work safely while following all company policies and OH&S; procedures.
- Support teammates wherever needed to ensure our operation runs smoothly.
Qualifications - Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
- Experience operating delivery trucks is considered an asset.
- Forklift experience is an asset but training can be provided.
- Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
