We are seeking a boom truck operator for our forming division. This individual is responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient operation of a Boom Truck on residential and commercial construction sites.This includes performing daily inspections, setup and operation of the boom truck, communication with jobsite personnel and dispatchers and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.The role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and consistent situational awareness.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform pre-trip, boom inspection and on-site inspections to assess hazards and ensure safe setup
Load and unload materials in yard or on job sites(follow Cavanagh Concrete's Boom Truck Safe Operating Procedures)

Drive the boom truck to job sites and set up (always performing site hazard assessments)

Perform tasks assigned by dispatch (deliver materials, clean up and swing, load materials)

Communicate with dispatch after task has been completed

Wear allrequired personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times





Perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed and keep the unit clean and organized

Complete all required inspection reports, maintenance logs and timecards

Communicate effectively with site supervisors, territory managers

All other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

Valid Commercial Driver's License with cleanabstract

Valid Boom Certification

Experience in construction andoperatingboom trucks

Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations

Physical stamina for demanding tasks

Ability to troubleshooting any issues

Excellent communication skills and positive attitude

Ability to work atmultiple locations daily on active construction sites

Wage Range:
The hourly range for this position (replacement) in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
