Support children's growth as an After School Educator at Compass Early Learning and Care, based in Douro, Ontario. Engage in play-based learning, foster relationships, and collaborate effectively.

As a permanent After School Educator, you will work 30 hours per week, with shifts tailored for before- and after-school programming. You’ll thrive in an environment that values curiosity and whole-child development, while connecting with families and community partners. Your role centers on planning engaging activities, ensuring child safety, and documenting learning progress.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead play-based and interest-driven activities
• Supervise children actively while engaging in play
• Document children’s progress through observations




• Maintain a protected and nurturing learning environment
• Foster strong relationships with families and the community

Requirements:
• 1-3 years’ experience with children and youth
• Familiarity with Child Care Early Years Act
• Valid certifications: Police Check, First Aid, CPR
• Registered with College of Early Childhood Educators
• Interest in or completion of ECE diploma or equivalent
