Empower individuals in their recovery journey as a Peer Support Specialist with TASC. Support community inclusion and provide essential resources to those reentering society from prison.

TASC is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to assist individuals facing barriers upon reintegration from Illinois prisons. Your lived experience will provide relatable support as you foster resilience and promote independence among clients. Collaborate with the PSH team to ensure holistic care and encourage client engagement in meaningful community activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with service plan goals and connect them to resources
• Coach in daily living skills, such as budgeting and hygiene




• Identify natural supports and community engagement opportunities
• Educate clients on tenant rights and problem-solving skills
• Conduct home visits and outreach to disengaged clients

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in group facilitation needed
• Robust verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management abilities

Utilize your experience to guide others towards successful community reintegration and empowerment.
