GFL Environmental is looking for newly licensed AZ Line Haul Drivers to participate in our Driver Development Training Program and support our solid waste line of business.

Driver Development Training Program: One on one training with a skilled driver coach

Eight-weeks of paid, industry specific training in Ayr, ON
Training focuses on backing skills, local/city/highway driving, safe loading and delivering techniques
Company driver position following successful completion of training
Transport solid waste from the transfer stations to various landfills
Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues to ensure secure operation and public safety
Document and log driving/break periods in Kilometers on Daily Trip Report and E-logs in accordance with DOT & MTO Regulations
Retain copies of fuel, and border toll receipts, as well as pick-up and delivery tickets to complete daily paperwork
Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation of vehicles, carriage of goods, Hours of Service,



occupational health and safety, customs and immigration, weights and dimensions
Home nightly
Ability to provide a clean Driver's Abstract, CVOR Abstract, criminal check and DOT regulated drug testing.
Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
High level of personal integrity
