Full rate of pay $36.71per hour following 90 days of service

*full-time and part-time permanent status colleagues

Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service

Health & Safety conscious, actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment including inspection ofall areas of the property for safety issues and takingimmediate corrective action

Service and repair duties of guestrooms, public areas, and heart of house

Minor equipment repairs,HVAC servicing and filter changes

Caulking washrooms, bathrooms and repair and replacement of bathroom fixtures, andminor plumbing

Daily swimming pool test and chemical balancing when assigned

Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities and equipment

Assist guests regarding hotel equipment e.g. TV's as needed

Active participation in our environmental program and sustainable operations

Daily system checks when assigned

Other duties as assigned

Previous maintenance experience in areas such as painting, plumbing, tiling and carpentry, across a large commercial building or similaris preferred

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Highly responsible andreliable, able to work safely with minimum supervision and be able to prioritize tasks

Excellent guest service skills with an eye for detail and mechanical aptitude needed

Team oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Good command of the English language required

Class 4 ticket an asset

Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, overtime shifts and holidays
