Thisis a role for a technologist who understands business strategy and legal workflows. You aren't just "using Claude"; you arebuilding a firm-wide secure ecosystem where AI handles the mundane so our legal professionals can focus on high-level advocacy. You will also build an AI infrastructure for the operation and management of firm marketing, finance, human resources and data analysis.Reporting to the Leadership Team, you will own the firm’s AI roadmap. You are responsible for identifying friction in our legal processes and removing it through intelligent automation and tool selection. You are a teacher, a scout, and a systems builder.Your Support SystemYou will work directly with the Leadership Team to align AI initiatives with firm growth targets. You are supported by our current systems and framework, ensuring your "AI Rocks" are high-impact and measurable. You will have a dedicated budget for testing, "swiping" the best AI use cases from North American innovators, and implementing top-tier legal tech.What You’ll DoFirst Month: The AI AuditWorkflow Mapping: Shadow our Intake, Paralegal, and Litigation teams to identify the "top 10" manual bottlenecksthat AI can solve today.Claude Onboarding: Audit the firm's current use of LLMs and design a "Claude for Legal" trainingcurriculum for all staff levels.Tool Inventory: Evaluate our current Case Management System (CMS) and its API capabilities for AI integration.First 90 Days: Implementation & TrainingThe "AI Academy":



Launch a mandatory, firm-wide training program on prompt engineering and business management use cases using Claude.Rapid Prototyping: Deploy 3 "Quick Win" AI automations (e.G., automated medical summary drafting, demand letter templates, intake workflow).Vendor Selection: Investigate and select the top 2 legal-specific AI tools in the current marketplace for a 90-day pilot.First 6–12 Months: Deep IntegrationProcess Transformation: Re-engineer all litigation processes such as "Records Acquisition", "Scheduling ", drafting, legal case building to be 80% AI-assisted.Case Logic: Implement AI-driven "Case Value" predictors to help lawyers prioritize high-quantum files.Governance & Security: Establish the firm's "Conscious AI Policy" to ensure data privacy, integrity, security and ethical compliance.First Year and Beyond: The Scalable FirmThe AI Roadmap: Build a long-term engine that identifies and implements emerging AI trends before our competitors do.Efficiency Gains: Demonstrate a 50 % increase in file velocity and a reduction in administrative hours per file.Market Leadership: Position Auger Hollingsworth as the most AI-advanced personal injury law firm in Ontario.What Will Set You Up for Success (S.E.T.)SkillsLLM Mastery: Must be able to demonstrate Expert-level knowledge of Claude and Gemini, including advanced prompt engineering and API integrations.Legal Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with the current "Gold Standard" of AI toolsspecifically built for litigation and discovery.Training & Coaching: Ability to take complex technical concepts and make them "user-friendly" for non-technical legal staff.Strategic Selection: Ability to distinguish between "AI Hype" and tools that actually move the needle on firm ROI.Mandatory:
