Ampere is looking for a passionate STEAM Educator in Iqaluit, NU, to deliver engaging programming. Collaborate with community partners to foster STEAM skills across all ages through creative play and technology.

In this educator role, you will engage learners in fun, community-centered STEAM activities. You’ll work closely with the Nunavut Delivery Team to adapt programming needs and develop resources. Your experience working with youth and adults will be crucial in delivering dynamic educational workshops in Iqaluit and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
• Foster positive, growth-minded learning environments
• Build long-term relationships with community partners
• Maintain current knowledge of STEAM education trends
• Facilitate after-school activities at the Makerspace
• Update program statuses and track attendance

Requirements:
• Experience leading educational workshops
• Familiarity with technology and media tools
• Excellent decision-making skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedule, in-person and remotely
