Empower Black youth as a Youth Support Facilitator with CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals. This full time role focuses on program facilitation, participant engagement, and holistic support.
In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Industry Liaison to enhance the programs aimed at personal and professional development for young Black individuals. With a minimum of two years' experience in program facilitation and a solid understanding of the barriers faced by Black youth, you will implement effective strategies that promote retention and participation. Your work will involve motivating participants through structured workshops, tailored check-ins, and essential referrals to services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support participant onboarding and holistic needs identification
• Deliver psychosocial assessments and coaching check-ins
• Facilitate engaging workshops that promote resilience
• Maintain accurate case notes and participant documentation
• Coordinate referrals to social services and resources
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in social work or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in youth engagement
• Experience with mental health and substance use support
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Valid driver's license required
