A reputable organization in the manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. Reporting to a senior finance leader, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Maintain and enhance financial models to support strategic planning Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ad hoc reporting Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and explain key variances Indirect Tax & Compliance Manage indirect tax compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions Review and validate tax filings to ensure accuracy and timely submission Monitor evolving tax obligations and maintain appropriate registrations Research tax implications related to new business activities, products, and market expansion Reconcile tax-related financial data and investigate discrepancies Coordinate with external advisors, auditors,



and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews Financial Reporting & Process Improvement Perform variance analysis across revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators Identify financial risks, opportunities, and operational improvement initiatives Participate in cross-functional projects that enhance finance processes and reporting capabilities Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline CPA designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset Three or more years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, FP&A;, tax, or a related field Strong understanding of indirect tax compliance in a multi-jurisdictional environment Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP or enterprise financial systems Experience in a growing or complex business environment is considered an asset This is an exciting prospect to join an expanding organization where your work will directly influence financial planning, operational decision-making, and process improvements.
