As a Dietary Aide reporting to the Dietary Manager, you will assist in preparing and serving meals tailored to individual dietary needs. This part-time role involves food handling, maintaining proper serving temperatures, and cleaning kitchen areas and equipment. Your contribution ensures a safe and enriching environment in our long-term care home.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food according to individual diets and preferences
• Maintain appropriate temperatures for served foods
• Assist in cleaning and preparing uncooked food items




• Clear trays and operate the dishwasher effectively
• Participate in food storage and labeling procedures

Requirements:
• Completion or enrollment in a Food Handlers Program
• Dietary experience preferred (0-1 year)
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Competence in reading and following instructions in English
• Availability for diverse shifts including weekends and holidays
