Step into a vital administrative role as a Police Records Clerk within the RCMP. This position involves managing essential records and using the PRIME system within a 24/7 operational setting.
Assisting the RCMP detachment, this role demands maintaining various electronic and physical record systems. You'll work directly with police teams, supporting their needs by retrieving, processing, and storing records accurately. Expect to handle non-standard working hours alongside regular clerical tasks such as managing supplies and supporting front counter services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Retrieve and organize files for RCMP teams daily
• Process and maintain electronic and physical records
• Conduct initial file reviews and track incoming files
• Provide front counter and phone service to stakeholders
• Offer break coverage for other clerical staff
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Minimum one year experience in a police department
• Knowledge of PRIME software is an asset
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters
• Organizational skills to manage diverse tasks
