As a key part of the Long Term Care and Seniors Services team, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for various tasks, including electrical and plumbing repairs, HVAC monitoring, and equipment upkeep. You will also conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation to benefit residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Service electrical and plumbing systems efficiently
• Monitor HVAC systems as required
• Conduct routine safety inspections and fire drills
• Maintain health care equipment,
including lifts
• Perform seasonal grounds maintenance as assigned
Requirements:
• Minimum of three years in a similar maintenance role
• Grade 12 diploma; equivalent education considered
• General knowledge in construction, plumbing, and electrical work
• Criminal Records Check required
• TB testing results as per Public Health guidelines
