Position Summary: EducationalAssistants provide classroom support to students based on their individualacademic, social, emotional, behavioural, and physical needs. This includessupporting students to access the curriculum and meet their full potential inboth integrated and high support settings.
Qualifications: Post-secondaryeducation in Educational Assistant, Early Childhood Education, DevelopmentalServices Worker, or related field, and/or equivalent. Demonstrated experienceworking with students with special education needs of varying ages, preferablyin a school setting.
$25.76 per hour -$30.55 per hour (plus vacation pay)
DSB1 may useArtificial Intelligence (AI) tools to assist in screening and assessingapplicants, as defined under the Employment Standards Act (ESA). AI is notused to make final hiring decisions. InDSB1, final hiring decisions are made by DSB1 staff.
