This role supports fleet reliability through quality workmanship, accurate documentation, and collaboration with internal teams. Open to both senior apprentices and licensed technicians.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all applicable legislation, regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures, including the Canada Labour Code, Part II, Ministry of Transportation, and United States Department of Transportation requirementsFollow all workplace health & safety policies, including PPE requirements, and safe equipment operationTroubleshoot,



diagnose, repair, adjust, overhaul, and maintain trucks and trailers to required safety and operational standardsIdentify faults or malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actionsAccurately document work performed, including labour time and repairs completed, on service work orders or electronic maintenance systemsFabricate and weld components as requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and orderly work areaLiaise with Professional Drivers and other departments as necessary to support operationsMaintain required certifications and participate in ongoing technical and safety training as assignedIdentify and recommend opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintenance practicesPerform other related duties or special projects as assignedQualifications3rd or 4th year Apprentice, or Licensed Truck or Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic (Interprovincial or Ontario).Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair trucks and trailers, appropriate to level of certificationAbility to follow technical instructions, procedures, and safe work practicesPreferred / Assets:Valid driver's licence for road testing purposesWelding experience or certificationExperience using electronic diagnostic tools or fleet maintenance systemsSkills & CompetenciesCommunication and active listening skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesOrganized, adaptable, and able to manage changing prioritiesProfessional, respectful,
