As our Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician, your main focus is to complete scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance across our residential properties. You will help keep building systems, equipment, and common areas in good working condition by identifying potential issues early, completing routine servicing, and helping reduce unexpected breakdowns and larger repairs.ResponsibilitiesPerforming scheduled preventative maintenance inspections across residential propertiesFollowing established maintenance schedules for building systems, equipment, fixtures, and common areasInspecting plumbing, heating, mechanical, and other building systems for signs of wear, leaks, damage, or developing issuesCompleting routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes, cleaning, adjustments, minor servicing, and preventative repairsTroubleshooting maintenance concerns and identifying issues that require further repair or specialized serviceMonitoring the condition and performance of building equipment and reporting recurring or developing concernsMaintaining accurate records of inspections, completed maintenance,
and identified deficienciesAssisting with routine testing and servicing of building systems and equipmentEnsuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standardFollowing all applicable health and safety procedures while completing assigned dutiesCompleting other related duties within the scope of the roleQualifications / RequirementsA valid plumbing licence or G1 Gas Technician licence is requiredPrevious experience in preventative maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or a similar role is considered an assetStrong working knowledge of plumbing, heating, mechanical, and general residential building systemsExperience troubleshooting and identifying maintenance issues before they develop into larger repairsStrong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential equipment or building system concernsGood organizational and time-management skills with the ability to follow scheduled maintenance programsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be reliable, punctual, and able to manage assigned responsibilitiesMust have a valid driver's licenceMust be able to work a adaptable schedule, as required#J-18808-Ljbffr
