As a member of the care team, the Health Care Aide plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality resident care. Under the supervision of a Staff Nurse, you'll implement secure and effective personal care. Your tasks will range from assisting residents with mobility to feeding and providing routine health treatments as directed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Bathe and shower residents for personal comfort
• Assist with resident transfers using proper equipment
• Feed residents during meals as per care plans
• Provide routine treatments under nursing direction
• Accompany residents to recreational and therapy activities

Requirements:
• One year experience in continuing care preferred
• Completion of recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate
• Active registration with CLHA
• Fluent in English, orally and in writing
• Relevant post-secondary education is an asset
