Become a vital part of Baycrest Hospital’s Behavioural Neurology Unit as a Registered Practical Nurse. This temporary part time role focuses on providing care to those with neurological diseases and behavioral challenges.

Serving adults in a secure inpatient environment, you will develop and evaluate nursing interventions tailored to patients' distinct needs. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, especially Registered Nurses, is essential in revising client care plans and delivering holistic patient care. This role encompasses both nursing duties and a commitment to enhancing overall patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and evaluate nursing care interventions and medications
• Collaborate in developing individualized care plans




• Address spiritual and recreational needs of clients
• Maintain high standards of operational nursing care
• Engage effectively with patients and staff

Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Must hold a current BCLS Level C certification
• Experience with dementia and behavioural responses preferred
• Effective communication and problem-solving capabilities
• Basic tech skills in Meditech and Microsoft Office preferred
