Job Title: Live-In Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Location: Burlington
Schedule: Monday 8:00 AM to Friday evening (Live-In)
Arrangement: Rotation between 2 PSWs (1 week on / 1 week off)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for a live-in role supporting a client recovering from a stroke. This position requires a caring individual who can assist with daily living activities and provide a safe, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities Assist with personal care, including showering and hygiene support
Provide light assistance with dressing
Prepare meals and support basic cooking needs
Offer companionship and ensure client safety and comfort
Maintain a clean and organized living workplace
Follow care plans and communicate updates as needed
Client Needs Client is recovering from a stroke and requires moderate assistance




Mobility support may be needed (details to be discussed)
Two large dogs are present in the home (no pet care required, but comfort around dogs is essential)
Qualifications & Requirements Certified Personal Support Worker
Experience working with stroke recovery or similar conditions preferred
Ability to cook and assist with meal preparation
Comfortable working in a home with large dogs
Reliable, patient, and compassionate
Strong communication skills
Additional Information Live-in accommodation provided during shift
