The Prospect We are currently seeking dependable and safety-focused Truck Drivers to support dry bulk material hauling operations based in either Sudbury or Thessalon Ontario. This position involves operating AZ-class commercial vehicles to transport dry bulk construction materials and related products to customer sites and designated delivery locations across Northern Ontario.
Your Day-to-Day Safely operate AZ-class commercial vehicles and dry bulk trailer equipment to transport various dry bulk materials
Safely load, secure, transport, and deliver materials in accordance with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and company procedures.
Operate dry bulk delivery systems including unloading equipment, blowers, hoses, and related components
Perform safe and accurate unloading of dry bulk materials at customer sites, plants, and storage facilities
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete vehicle inspection reports,



and report unsafe conditions and accidents
Attend daily safety meetings
Monitor equipment fitness, and ever-changing conditions
Perform minor repairs to equipment when required
Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment effectively
Maintain accurate electronic Hours of Service, vehicle inspection logs, and delivery documentation in compliance with MTO requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment
Perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, crouching, climbing, crawling, repetitive reaching, and extended periods of sitting throughout the workday
Monday to Friday work schedule with evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required to meet operational and project demands
Travel to job sites across Northern Ontario, including occasional out-of-town assignments with overnight stays
Work in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Perform other related duties as assigned

The pay range posted reflects base compensation only. Starting pay is based on skills, experience, and qualifications. Benefits and other incentives are offered separately.
Required Required Skills Valid AZ class driver’s license with a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR




Minimum of one (1) year experience operating commercial vehicles requiring a AZ license
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Considered An Asset Prior experience operating dry bulk tanker or similar equipment
Experience delivering various dry bulk construction materials
Surface Miner Common Core
Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Skills & Abilities Successfully passed comprehensive pre-employment third party testing requirements (drug and alcohol testing and a Criminal Background Check (CPIC) and any other requirements they impose on contractors)
Knowledgeable and respectful of the Highway Traffic Act and Municipality by laws and regulations
Knowledge of dry bulk loading, transport, and unloading procedures
Strong attention to detail to ensure work quality and compliance are being appropriately monitored through inspections and observations
Ability to perform physically intensive and strenuous tasks when required
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
Ability to adapt to changing job requirements and schedules
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
