Reporting to the Supervisor, the Janitor is responsible for performing janitorial duties, while maintaining a clean and orderly environment in both the plant and office facilities.

Key activities Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.) as per cleaning schedule.
Collect and dispose of all garbage and recyclables.
Complete an Inventory of cleaning products once a week and collaborate with Purchaser when supplies are needed.
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
In the winter, clean snow from walkways and spread salt to de-ice area.
Perform and document routine inspection by using a cleaning log where needed.
Follow all health and safety and GMP regulation.
Perform any other duties as requested by management.
Maintain cleanliness of chemical storage area and assist forklift operator/production staff in organizing the same.
Upon supervisor’s request assist production staff to run the machine during lunch/breaks.
