Company Description Welcome to EagleCraft Boats!
At our plant in beautiful Campbell River, British Columbia, our talented team of 30 full-time staff specializes in designing and building custom aluminum boats. Well represented across the globe, our company is proud to have built over 800 aluminum quality vessels ranging from pleasure crafts to commercial work boats.
Job Description What will you do? Woodworking on our custom boat interiors
Installing flooring in vessels
Measuring for panels
Preparation and pre-finish of trim
Basic cabinet construction
Qualifications What do you need to succeed? 1-3 years experience in residential construction or cabinet building
Experience with basic wood working tools Tape measure
Hand drill
Sander
Table saw

Ability to follow instructions and be open to feedback
Must possess positive attitude and willingness to learn , excellent organizational, & communication skills.
Must thrive in a team workplace.
Experience in marine interior woodworking would be preferred

Compensation range based on experience; $24-30 hr. Higher pay range for experienced wood workers in marine industry.
Wage reviews are conducted after successful completion of the probationary period and annually after the first year of employment.

WORKING CONDITIONS Regular periods during which there is continuous physical effort is required, e.g., walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward;
Exposure to factors such as temperature variations, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, toxic materials which may cause periods of discomfort, high noise levels;
Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed;
Noticeable pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands exists.
