Extendicare Medex is seeking a Dietary Aide for casual positions. Provide exceptional meal services to residents and assist with kitchen cleanliness in this important role.

As a Dietary Aide at Extendicare, you will directly support meal preparation and service under the Nutrition Manager's guidance. You will serve meals professionally, help set up dining areas, and maintain kitchen cleanliness. There’s a strong emphasis on excellent customer service and working with seniors in a caring setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals to residents and guests courteously
• Assist with food preparation and beverage service
• Set and clear dining tables effectively
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining area
• Participate in special events and catering tasks

Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Previous experience in food service is preferred
• Must be enrolled in Food Service Worker training program
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
• Willingness to obtain a vulnerable sector check
