Description

As a Dispatch Specialist, you will assist in the execution of transportation resources and partner with internal and external customers to provide a level of customer service that fosters both internal and external customer growth and retention.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

Schedule appointments with customers via phone, email, or web-based formats

Communicate with drivers on schedules and work assignments

Take ownership through coordination and implementation of freight movement between distribution centers

Ensure Quality and Safety in the respective work area

Compile data and reports to deliver solutions for change

Collaborate with both external internal partners to address concerns

Work to improve productivity and reduce cycle time of processes

YOU MUST HAVE

High school diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience

Ability to think critically and make independent decisions

Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

Experience working in both team and independent settings

Exceptional organizational and communication skills

Meticulous attention to detail

ROLE SPECIFICS

Schedule:Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.



Ability to work on on-call afterhours.Subject to change as per business needs

Work Environment: Some exposure to garage/ shop environment
