Double A Painting Ltd. — located in Victoria, BC — is looking for 2 Painters to join its team as soon as possible.

Responsibilities and Duties:

This position includes the preparation and painting of both interior and exterior surfaces in residential, commercial, multifamily complexes, and heritage buildings

Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, filling, and caulking to repair imperfections and prepare various surfaces for the application of coatings

Read and follow the specifications in the work order and follow the direction of your Foreman or Supervisor

Apply paint or other materials, such as primers or stains, using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment

Safely use ladders and elevated work platforms to perform the required tasks

Maintain a secure and tidy work area and clean up at the end of each day

Job Requirements:
Education: High school education is required

Experience:

Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program, or

2 years of work experience in the trade

Language: English

Job Location: All over Victoria, depending on contract

Salary: $37.00 to $38.50 per hour for 30–40 hrs/week
