Overview
WildBrain Studiosis looking for an Assistant Editor, 2D to join our team!
Reporting to the Producer, in this position you will have the opportunity to assemble storyboard panels and audio elements needed to tell the story of the show, all the while keeping things organized and tidy. We are looking for someone with a good sense of humor / timing who can support our Animatic editor(s) in their daily workloads.

What You’ll Do
Assemble the first pass of the episode using storyboard panels, circled audio takes,
and the script for reference
Cut revision panels into the timelines Assist the Animatic Editor with day-to-day production needs when necessary
Create outputs of shows (animatics) for both clients and internal needs
Maintain the series walla library
Maintain the episode re-use shot lists
Manage editorial project/bins/media files efficiently
Actively participate in production-related meetings by offering thoughts and ideas
Carry out duties in a professional and positive manner
Be a positive and creative force on the team
What You’ll Bring
1-3 years minimum qualified experience in an editorial role
Strong understanding of Avid Media Composer editing software is a must
Ability to take direction, collaborate, and be a team player
Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
Ability to work alone and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure
Ability to adapt to multiple show styles
