GED 12 - General Educational Development
The Body Shop Assistant is to service as a front line representative for the body shop. The assistant will create valuable, lifelong customer relationships to achieve targets and use the provided tools to ensure all customers keep coming back to the dealership for body work.
Key Accountabilities:
Greet customers on the phone or in the dealership promptly and in a courteous manner.
Keep financial records up to date. Run reports. Compile data statistics and other information.
Post Financial transactions in CDK.
Receive and Record cash, cheques into CDK.Record various bills.
Builds and maintains valuable working relations with insurance adjusters.
Negotiates with insurance company representatives.
Complete insurance forms, indication the estimated repair costs and making recommendations.
Handles customer complaints as soon as possible according to the dealer's instructions.
Examine damaged vehicles to determine the degree of structural and mechanical damages as well as damage to the body work and the insides of the vehicles.
Evaluates the cost of labour and parts to repair or replace each damaged part.
Complete all warranty in a timely manner
Monitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop and ensure the proper repair and safety procedures.
Employment Requirements:
Gr. 12
1-2 years related body shop experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient Computer Skills
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Time Management Skills
Valid Driver License
