The Town of Oakville seeks a Part-Time Assistant Programmer for up to 24 hours per week. This role includes direct supervision of leagues and events while assisting in the planning and execution of game schedules. The successful candidate will support staff and volunteer training while managing program information using Xplor Recreation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise leagues, tournaments, and special events
• Assist in game night preparation and scheduling
• Manage league website content and prizing coordination




• Maintain player database and league records
• Provide administrative support to Recreation Coordinator

Requirements:
• Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Recreation or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in recreation programming
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Access to a vehicle for job duties
• Pass criminal record and vulnerable sector check
