We are currently seeking a Journeyman 421A Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at our Sudbury location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the protected and efficient operation of a wide range of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and more

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity

Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and objectives

Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry advancement

Requirements

Valid Heavy Equipment Mechanic license





Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy equipment systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Willingness to work overtime when required

Valid driver's license
