To learn more about the Association and what we do, visit www.Facilityassociation.Com.About the RoleThe Data Associate (Co-op) will work closely with members of the Data & Analytics team, as well as internal stakeholders and vendors, to support Facility Association’s data and data platformmodernization initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to data management, reporting, documentation, and analytics, as well as insight into the day-to-day operations of the Data & Analytics function.This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to build practical experience in data analytics within a complex, real-world business environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport data extraction, transformation,
and timely delivery of data to downstream teams and stakeholdersAssist with the development and maintenance of data and process documentationSupport the update and development of reports and visualizations to enable informed decision- makingPerform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data and reportsCommunicate or present findings, insights, and issues as required.Required Skills and QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a university degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative fieldStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience or strong working knowledge of data and analytics tools such as SQL, Python, or RStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work collaboratively in a team environmentPrevious co-op or internship experience in data and analytics is considered an asset.Term & CompensationTerm: 4-month Summer Co-opCompensation: $25–$31 per hour, based on experience and skills.Facility Association is committed to providing accommodation for people with disabilities.
