At the Town of Whitby, you'll help plan and instruct children’s programs and coordinate special events. This role involves promoting youth participation and ensuring a safe environment for all attendees. You'll work under the Recreation & Community Programs Supervisor, developing engaging content based on participant interests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise youth and children’s drop-in programs
• Develop engaging seminars and themed nights
• Promote child and youth programs effectively
• Attend training sessions regularly
• Address participant needs and interests promptly

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• 6 months of related experience
• Current Emergency First Aid and CPR certification
• Robust interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Valid police criminal record check for vulnerable sector
