Dental office in Richmond Hill is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant Level II to join their team.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experienced Dental Assistant, min 1+ years

Must be HARP certified

Must have excellent command of the English language

LOCATION: Richmond Hill (Yonge/King Rd-free parking)
HOURS

Mon (arrive 11:30-8)

Tues (arrive 11:30-8)

Wed (arrive 8:30-5)

Thurs (arrive 8:30-5)

Fri (arrive 7-2/3)

Sat (arrive 7-2/3) alternating, get 1 day off through the week

COMPENSATION
$23-$28 depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW

Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials

Assisting dentist with surgery, root canals, crowns, bridges, veneers, implants invisalign, fillings,extractionsandmouthguards





Placement and removal of rubber dams

Taking x-rays of patients' teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays

Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths transparent and dry during procedures

Taking preliminary impressions

Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics

Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentist's reference

Advising patients on dental care, oralhygiene and plaque control programs

Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before,during and after dental treatment
