Software Development Manager, Managed Application Platform - MAP The Managed Application Platform team manages several Tier-1 services including Apollo that deployment across compute types (including Hailstone and NAWS and recently Serverless), in-place host patching (Quilt), provisioning and scaling through Apollo Cloud Control (ACC), host and hostclass management (H2C), and custom AMI baking solutions. so engineers can focus on solving customer and business problems without worrying about their deployments, safety, hosts management, or capacity scaling. We own the end-to-end deployment and host runtime experience, providing safe and scalable friction path from post-build artifacts to reliable and secure production deployments. You will join a diverse team of software engineers working to improve builder velocity, reduce operational risk, scale automation safely, and maximize the value of existing tooling You will collaborate with teams across Amazon and AWS to reduce builder toil at 3+ years of engineering team management experience ~8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience ~ Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification,
