We are currently seeking several Journeymen Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Registered 4th year Apprentices to join our team in Vaughan, ON. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and productive operation of a wide range of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and more.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity
Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and objectives
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
Requirements:




421A certified or equivalent Red Seal Journeymen Heavy Equipment Certification.
Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance and repair of Construction or Mining equipment.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, and hydraulic systems, undercarriage repairs and engine diagnosis and repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Willingness to work overtime when required
Valid driver's license
Compensation: Wage Rage $40 - $44 an hour including a comprehensive Benefit package.

Days, 5x8 Monday - Friday or 4x10 Monday - Thursday.
