Take on a full-time deckhand role at ADM's American River Transportation Company in Mt. Vernon, IN. Contribute to vessel maintenance, tow work, and operational support.

As a deckhand, you will work under the captain’s guidance to ensure the smooth operation of our tugboat. Responsibilities include cleaning, rigging, and preparing barges for delivery. Your role will also involve supporting barge cleaners, mechanics, and welders, as well as completing required reports in adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain vessel housekeeping and upkeep
• Perform tow work through rigging and lineboat preparation
• Prepare barges for delivery to customers
• Assist with safety reports and vessel compliance
• Report injuries and issues as necessary

Requirements:
• Ability to follow captain's directions
• Preferred experience in inland waterway decking
• Effective reading and writing skills
• Versatile schedule adaptability
• Must possess a current TWIC card
