What You’ll Do: Safely operate sidewalk plow, sander, and other winter maintenance equipment.
Clear snow and ice through plowing, shoveling and material application.
Perform basic equipment maintenance and shop duties.
Complete vehicle inspections and routine equipment care.
Assist with loading winter maintenance materials.
Respond to winter weather events and emergency operations.
Complete daily documentation and operational records.




Work safely while following Township policies and provincial legislation.
Support the team throughout the winter season.
What We’re Looking For: Holds a valid G Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Has experience operating heavy equipment, snow plows, sidewalk machines, etc.
Takes pride in operating equipment safely and professionally.
Is dependable, adaptable, and willing to respond when winter weather arrives.
Values teamwork, safety, and serving the community.
Can work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Summary This is a Seasonal Contract from approximately November 2026 to April 2027 position.
Number of vacancies: 1
Normal hours of work may vary including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. On-call and standby responsibilities.
Working across the Township yards; Kenilworth, Damascus, Arthur and Mount Forest.
