Join our team todayJob DescriptionAccountabilities:Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy and Oncology teams to provide patient-centered careProvide drug information to physicians, nurses and other clinicians to enhance patient careClinical review and verification of all medication orders for patients in the ambulatory oncology clinicProvide education to patients to promote optimal drug useMentor Pharmacy residents,
students and internsSupervise the preparation of chemotherapyResolve day-to-day clinical and operational issuesOncology Clinic operations supportParticipates in oncology program quality improvement initiativesOther duties as assignedQualificationsCurrently licensed by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A of the Registry)Relevant clinical experience in oncology preferableWorking knowledge of OPIS preferableWorking knowledge of Meditech preferableMembership to CAPhO an assetKnowledge of hazardous sterile compounding, including NAPRA standardsExcellent oral, interpersonal and written skillsExcellent computer skillsDemonstrate initiative and a willingness to work collaboratively in a team environmentMust be able to meet the physical demands of the positionExcellent attendance, punctuality and work recordMust demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and CollaborationAdditional InformationHours: Primarily Days/Evenings,, 8 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays(subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)Salary: Minimum: $50.01 per hourMaximum: $64.54 per hourTFT - 12 months#LI-SC1Osler values inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
