We are currently looking forTeam Lead - Facility Services to join our team of committed professionals. This Full-Time position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario's Chippewa location in North Bay.Under the leadership of the Regional Manager of Facility Maintenance & Housekeeping, the Team Lead - Facility Services is responsible for assisting in coordinating and assisting in all aspects of facility management, including cleaning and general maintenance. This job is also responsible for minor and major maintenance and repairs in the YMCA health and wellness to ensure a safe, functional, clean, and comfortable environment which is suitable for the delivery of YMCA and partner (if applicable) programming. START DATE: ASAPLOCATION: North Bay, ONRATE OF PAY: $45,000 - $48,000HOURS: 40 Hours / WeekMajor ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing the cleaning and maintenance of YMCA facilitiesEnsure the smooth operation of cleaning equipment and inform Regional Manager if servicing is requiredInform Regional Manager when stock is low for required cleaning supplies and cleaning equipmentResponsible for minor and major repairs and maintenance in the respective YMCA owned property and onsite Child Cares Assist in the maintenance of all pool equipment and maintain balanced water as required by public health guidelinesAssist with schedules and maintain annual checks on sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers,
etc.Assist with scheduling and facilitating of quarterly inspections from the ministryAssist with ensuring adequate stock of inventory for pool testing and balancing productsReport any safety hazards to the Regional Manager and assist in the implementation of any corrective action that may be appropriateComply with the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) program.
