Dental office in Georgetown is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant.
POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experienced Dental Assistant
Must have minimum of 2-3yearsof experience
Abeldent knowledge/experience an asset
LOCATION: Georgetown
HOURS: Ideally work 1 or 2 evenings but flexible - finish usually 6:30/7 or can do part-time 3 days leave at 2:30 and 2nd DA start later

Tues (9-7)
Wed (9-7)
Thurs (9-7)
Fri (8-2)
COMPENSATION: $25-$30depending on experience and performance
JOB OVERVIEW: Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
Sterilizing instruments
Assisting dentist with crowns, bridges,porcelainveneers, dental implants, invisalign, teeth whitening, fillings,extractionsandmouthguards




Placement and removal of rubber dams
Taking x-rays of patients' teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
Using suction and swabs to keeppatients' mouths explicit and dry during procedures
Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentist's reference
Advising patients on dental care, oralhygiene and plaque control programs
Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before,during and after dental treatment
