Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full time Assistant Team Leader onsite at our Convenience Store/Gas Bar in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.
What You Will Do: Model and champion Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles, fostering a strong customer-focused culture.
Supervise team members to maintain efficient operations and high customer service standards.
Support and guide daily retail operations, including merchandising execution, inventory management, and team coordination.
Monitor sales, labour costs, and store performance.
Support hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when required.
Administer cash management, deposits, daily reporting, and Point-Of-Sale System operations.
Implement promotions,



upselling strategies, and seasonal product displays to drive revenue.
Respond to emergencies, staffing shortages, or operational issues as needed.
Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco, lottery, and fireworks.
Champion and ensure compliance with all safety, asset protection, and operational policies and procedures.
Who You Are: 2 years of Retail Convenience Store management experience including Convenience Store operations, knowledge of pumps, fuel and compliance in a full-service environment.
Co-operative Retailing System experience and post-secondary education in a business-related field are assets.
