Make a difference as a Mental Health and Addiction Support Worker at EHN Canada. This role focuses on helping clients in recovery through direct care and structured activities in a supportive setting.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team at EHN Canada, you'll work in a co-ed inpatient facility, supporting clients through daily routines and therapeutic programming. Your responsibilities will include engaging clients, promoting healthy behaviors, and ensuring smooth facility operations during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct patients on essential life skills for independence
• Lead groups and facilitate therapeutic meetings
• Monitor patient attendance in structured activities
• Assist disengaged patients in overcoming challenges
• Provide patient transportation as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma in Addictions, Mental Health, or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience in mental health/addiction support preferred
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle preferred
• Current First Aid/CPR and NVCI certification
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and recovery models
