Drive child development at YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo as a Temporary Full-Time Registered Early Childhood Educator. Work directly with children in a supportive environment from 11:30 AM to 6 PM.

This role focuses on fostering children's physical, mental, and social growth within the Childcare Centre and School-Age Program. As a valued team member, you'll assist in creating engaging learning opportunities that resonate with children's interests. You will also promote cooperative social behaviors through group activities and games, enhancing the development of healthy relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support children's physical, mental, and social development
• Create learning opportunities aligned with children's interests




• Foster cooperative behaviors through games and projects
• Work effectively with staff, parents, and the community
• Uphold safety and compliance within the Child Care and Early Years Act

Requirements:
• Registered Early Childhood Educator Diploma
• College of Early Childhood Educators registration
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C certification
• Secure Food Handling certification
