Sheet metal worker Apprentice job
Job details
Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
Work setting: Installation.
Tasks: Manufacture and assemble in the factory the ducts for hot air heating, air conditioning and ventilation. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Instruct apprentices. Cut materials using power tools or by hand. Fit and join sheet metal parts.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification.
Apprenticeship training: Level two apprenticeship training. Level three apprenticeship training.
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract).
Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Tools.
Personal suitability: Dependability.
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
