Become an essential part of Kelowna Community Health and Services as a full-time Accounting Assistant. This permanent position offers a structured schedule, rotating days from Monday to Friday.

Join a agile team in Kelowna, BC, where you will handle payroll remittances, prepare financial statements, and perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts. This role requires two years of the CMA, CGA, or CPA program, along with related experience in accounting practices. You will also benefit from employer-paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare payroll remittances accurately and timely
• Develop period-end and year-end payroll working papers
• Conduct complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts




• Prepare financial statements for management review
• Support various accounting duties as required

Requirements:
• Completion of 2 years of CMA, CGA, or CPA Program
• Recent related experience of at least four years
• Typing test with 45+ NWPM within the last 48 months
• Relevant accredited certificates or diplomas
• Availability for casual or on-call work
