Assume a vital role as a Temporary Nurse Practitioner at Warman Primary Health Centre, delivering essential health care services. Engage in community health promotion and chronic disease management.
You will be responsible for providing holistic health care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A Master of Nursing degree and three years of relevant nursing experience are required. This role also entails educational support for students and participation in quality service initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement primary health care strategies for the community
• Synthesize health assessments to determine patient status
• Collaborate with families and healthcare providers in treatment plans
• Assist in chronic disease management for individuals and communities
• Support student education across nursing and medical disciplines
Requirements:
• Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)
• Three years as a Registered Nurse necessary
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Registered or eligible with College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan
• Preferred experience in primary health care
