The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the chance to: Lead and design water and wastewater treatment systems for various industrial clients, including power, gas processing, mining, technology/semiconductor, heavy industry, new energy, and food industries. Develop and apply advanced treatment and engineering techniques with limited direction to solve complex engineering problems related to water quality and treatment challenges. Develop and present technical evaluations and recommendations to clients and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead process engineering design of water and wastewater treatment and delivery systems. Prepare a variety of moderately complex process engineering deliverables: PFDs, water balances, MSDs, P&IDs;, equipment specifications. Perform complex research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or material selection.

Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.



Plan and conduct independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Review lower-level engineering work or assignments.

Oversee data collection, assimilation, and management; lead smaller production teams; and serve as responsible charge for a project.

Knowledge

Sharing, Innovation and Technology Serve as a technical specialist and provide consultation and guidance within a particular practice area. Design a complete project of complex scope within an assigned practice area. Coordinate with the industrial water team and other segments regarding thought leadership and presentations at critical conferences.

Client Focus

Assist with identification of key client interests and drivers on less complex projects. Actively seek to understand client interests through normal client contact and interaction with project leadership.Provide support to business development or pursuit activities, including pre-positioning meetings, proposal development, client interviews, and identification of winning sales messages.

Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to the assigned engineering discipline. Effective oral and written communication skills, drive for results, quality driven, priority setting, planning, delegation, directing others, conflict management, dealing with ambiguity, and building effective teams. Established skills with deep understanding of consulting, project execution, client services, and business development.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program in the home country or country of practice. Minimum of 11 years related work experience.

Professional Engineer registration or licensure, or willingness/ability to pursue such registration.

Work Environment / Physical Demands Typical office environment, construction environment, extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards (electric currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals), atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, poor ventilation). Tasks include sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods, and lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
